I hate that T Mobile commercial where the the wife says "Your butt is calling."
Is anyone going to Submissive Journey Weekend?
The Wolves Within
An old Grandfather, whose grandson came to him with anger at a schoolmate who had done him an injustice, said, "Let me tell you a story. I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do. But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times."
He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me; one is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way."
"But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."
The boy looked intently into his Grandfather' s eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather? "
The Grandfather solemnly said, "The one I feed."

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Polyamory from the view of "one of the kids"
Always one of the bigger questions...."What about the kids?"
Always one of the bigger questions...."What about the kids?"
This came to me from the "Inspiration List" I'm on. The timing is amazing! Last night, I asked S who her best friend was. She said, "You can have more than one, you know."
Smart girl.

Girls In My Circle
When I was little, I used to believe in the concept of one best
friend. And then I started to become a woman.
And then I found out that if you allow your heart to open up, you will
be shown the best in many friends.
One friend is needed when you're going through things with your partner.
Another friend is needed when you're going through things with your
parents.
Another will sit beside you in the bleachers as you delight in your
children and their activities.
Another when you want to shop, share, heal, hurt, joke, or just be.
One friend will say, 'Let's cry together,' another, 'Let's fight
together,' another, 'Let's walk away together.'
One friend will meet your spiritual need, another your shoe fetish,
another your love for movies, another will be with you in your season
of confusion, another will be your clarifier, another the wind beneath
your wings.
But whatever their assignment in your life, on whatever the occasion,
on whatever the day, or wherever you need them to meet you with their
gym shoes on and hair pulled back, or to hold you back from making a
complete fool of yourself...
Those are your best friends.
It may all be wrapped up in one woman, but for many, it's wrapped up
in several... one from 6th grade, one from high school, some from the
college years, a couple from old jobs.
On some days your mother. On some days your neighbor. On others, your
sisters, nieces, cousins. And on some days, your daughters.
